1.) Check for Firewalls:

There are times when firewalls do not allow communication from our system. In that case you have two options:

A.)  Connect over PORT 9000.

If you are unclear about this solution please consult your IT professional or email our staff at info@virtual-auction.com. For auctions with audio/video we connect over a different port, please inquire for more information.

B.)  Disable your firewall.

A firewall may interupt connection to the auction server.

2.) Update your browser:

This system works most optmum in PC windows with Mozilla Firefox 3 and 3.5, Internet Explorer versions 7 and 8. For Mac OSX it works best in Firefox 3 and 3.5. Other browsers such as safari, may function, but have not been fully tested and are not supported by VA. Please note: If you are operating in IE 6, you must update your browser!  Please do NOT use Netscape, Firefox versions less then 2.5, IE versions less then 7, Chrome or Safari.

3.) Adobe Flash is enabled

Please make sure you have enabled flash in the min requirement version as its needed to run the auction.

4.) DSL internet connection

You must have a DSL internet connection to run this program.

5.)  User Login

When logged in as an admin and operating the clerking console, it is critical that you are NOT logged in as another user on the bidder’s side in other tabs or windows using that same browser.

6.)  Other Application:

We suggest that you shut down other applications while running the clerking console.

7.)  Java Script Enabled:

Please check to make sure your Java Script is enabled on your browser.
